The Galaxy is perfect for virtually anywhere but when used in a Child's Bedroom it acts as both a nightlight and educational tool.
Stunning in Bedrooms, Entrance Halls and above Dining Tables it is also very well suited for Yoga/Meditation rooms.
The constellation figures are drawn from the mythology of ancient Greece and Rome. Around 450 embossed stars are shown on The Galaxy's disk, each in its correct relative position. Different star shapes denote the relative brightness of each star and this is also modeled in the actual light coming from each optical fibre.
Embossed lines link the stars in each constellation to create the outlines which gave rise to their identification with the figures of mythology.
Illuminated by a single halogen light source which feeds light via an optical harness. You will need access to this light source to change the single bulb and it can be located anywhere within a 2m radius of the Galaxy disk. (A cupbard, book shelf, etc)
